Welcome to Premier Homes and Construction Inc.'s
Mississippi Gulf Coast web site. As you will see, our prices beat any and all
competitors. We believe this so much, that we guarantee the lowest price based upon
identical specifications. You may ask yourself, "How can they do it?" Well, here
is the reason. We do not have a secretary, a salesman, a bookkeeper, a job foreman, a
buyer, a computer technician , a project coordinator, a model home and a fleet of company
trucks; all of which increase the price of homes by our competition. Instead, these
jobs are performed by John Sr., John Jr., a graduate of University of Southern Miss
in Construction Engineering and Sean Rhodes a graduate of Mississippi State University.
Lower overhead costs mean lower home prices for you. Consequently, due to our usual packed
schedule, we may be hard to contact at times. Please try email. We have to work late to keep our
prices down. Using email, we can reply with answers to your questions while you
sleep.
If you are patient and persistent, it will pay off. Our
customers will tell you that our quality can be stacked up against any in the business.
And the price; unbeatable. Most people find that their appraisal is thousands of dollars
higher than their construction costs when we are contracted. Not many builders can boast
that statistic, nor are they willing to.
Now you may ask, "Why do we do it?"
The answer is simple. It is an uncomplicated business theory that Sam Walton created. The
margin selling 100 things at half price is much more than selling 10 things at full price.
It means we have to work harder, smarter, shop and negotiate prices more
aggressively than our competitors, but we are not afraid of work.

Celebrating over 25 years of home building
John Rhodes Sr., an Engineering Honor Graduate from the University of Southern
Mississippi started Premier Homes and Construction in 1978. Since that time, the company
has grown into one of the largest custom Build/Design firms on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
We specialize in custom design and construction packages tailored to the buyers needs. We
purchase the lot, include all costs, improvements and appliances, right down to the window
treatments if necessary. In some cases, the purchaser will pay nothing down, depending on
the plan, location, size and credit worthiness.
We also offer several stock home construction packages at a
very reasonable price.
